Project Description: Accessibility for Manitobans Act Readiness Plan
Provided a summary presentation of the Act to the senior leadership team. This included special considerations for students, guests and the many internal and external LRSD supports that may enter the grounds and/or buildings. Those considerations led to a building-by-building review for the deficiencies to be addressed to be fully compliant by the due date for public infrastructures. Preliminary budgets were tallied for each building and its grounds. The final report included a preliminary total by year and priorities identified.
